Meeting Reports

Cornish Pasties up from Cornwall on the day and supervised by Liz Poole always attract  the Bournemouth Cornish Association Members, a reminder of home and the autumn meeting was no exception, followed by great home made  desserts with Cornish Clotted Cream, tea or coffee.

Entertainment was under the expert eye of our member Trevor Lugg who was in charge of the Bingo and prizes presented by our President Peter Hambly. The raffle was under the watchful eye of our Vice President  Bill Sweet and his wife Doreen with great prizes given by members.

The evening was overshadowed  by the sudden death of our active member Barbara Hancock, but Barbara would have appreciated the 'Cornish Family' supporting her husband John/Fred, Carol and Andrew following their loss.

National Macmillan Coffee Morning. Our secretary Anne Parsons ran a coffee morning at her home for our members in aid of Macmillan and raised £150.00 for which a Thank You card was received.
